As Executive Director for the Wayne County Land Bank, Anthony oversees core programs operated by the Land Bank in collaboration with its municipal and private partners, including Nuisance Abatement, Quiet Title, Compliance, and Side Lot Sales. Anthony originally joined the County in 2019 where he served as the Deputy Director of Buildings and Capital Development and Real Estate Director for Economic Development. As a Real Estate Industry veteran of over 20 years, Anthony demonstrates a great deal of knowledge and feel of the Real Estate industry.
As a Real Estate Broker, he successfully opened and managed a firm of over 45 agents. During the dreaded housing collapse of 2008, he was an integral part in the housing and lending recovery efforts. He was selected by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to negotiate with southeast Michigan municipalities and banking institutions to develop programs to assist with mitigating crisis. Anthony is also a former President and Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Detroit Division.
Anthony was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He is a graduate of Cass Technical High School and has a Business degree with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
